Lenovo SpaceBall 3D Input Device

The SpaceBall 3D Input Device is a 3D motion controller that significantly improves 3D interactivity on your IntelliStation systems. It lets you manipulate 3D models and 3D cameras naturally and intuitively by allowing you to control up to six degrees of freedom (x, y, z translations and x, y, z with 10-bit precision) simultaneously to pan, zoom and rotate 3D objects in every direction. The SpaceBall lets you control the direction and speed of movement (velocity) by applying pushes, pulls and twists to the ball. It operates two to three times faster than a mouse for 3D control. The SpaceBall 3D Input Device is fully certified by leading MCAD/CAE and DCC ISVs such as PTC, Unigraphics Solutions, and SDRC.
