Lifecycle of the Philips 300WN5 30-inch LCD monitor is 2.5 times longer than on average than plasma displays. Features include easy plug and play, DVI, WXGA wide format, 1280x768 resolution for sharper display and hidden control buttons to prevent tampering with settings.

The Pip picture in picture feature allows you to watch simultaneously two different sources, either two video sources or a combination with data and/or graphics.

The Philips 300WN5 model is available in 5 alternatives to suit a variety of needs. There is the basic monitor in black 300WN5BB, the monitor with protective glass in black 300WN5D which is ideal for retail outlets where the glass could get knocked; the monitor with TV tuner and video input 300WN5QS which is only available in silver; and the video only monitor with input of scart and video, available in black 300WN5VB or silver 300WN5VS. The base and detachable audio speakers are standard with the TV model and are available as optional accessories for monitor and audio/video models.
